Duke Dumas

Duke Dumas is a side character during the Renaissance France Arc of Mesozoic Meltdown, voiced in the English dub by Mike Pollock. His name and appearance are based off of Alexandre Dumas, the author of The Three Musketeers, other characters from which are also seen in the arc.

Anime

The uncle of Princess Anne, he owns and lives in the Chateau du Duke Dumas, where she and King Louis visit in The Wee Musketeers, being shown a recently-rediscovered bluish crystal orb among other family treasures. Richelieu and Gavro, under orders from the Royal Mother, soon arrive and search the place for the Blue Eye of Gaia. A dinosaur fight soon breaks out between Gavro's Anchiceratops and Gigas and the D-Team's dinosaurs and Spiny.

During the fight, Richelieu claims the blue orb as the Eye of Gaia, but Dumas insists it's a family heirloom that's just an ordinary glass orb, Gavro confirming that it's not a Cosmos Stone. After Richelieu and his soldiers leave, Duke Dumas lets the D-Team and Teen Musketeers each take a blue and gray musketeer outfit and short metal sword, which they remain adorned with during the rest of the arc.
